What we collect
When you sign up and use CreationCanvas during the private beta we store: your email address, the projects you create, the tiles and clips on those projects (including images, video, and prompts), and metadata about generations you run (which model, parameters, outcomes, and credit charges).
We do not collect payment card numbers directly — billing, when enabled, runs through a third-party processor that returns only a token to us.
Why we collect it
We use this data to:
- Authenticate you (email magic-link sign-in).
- Render your projects when you return.
- Track and meter generation credits.
- Debug failures — both ours and the upstream model providers'.
- Reach out about your account and beta updates.
Retention
Project state and generation history are retained for the lifetime of your account. Logs and ephemeral debugging traces follow our hosting provider's default retention. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing the address below.
Third parties
CreationCanvas relies on a small number of vendors. Your data may transit or rest with the following:
- Supabase — auth, Postgres, file storage, realtime channels.
- Vercel — application hosting, edge runtime, build infrastructure.
- WaveSpeed, BytePlus (Seedance), Fal, and Google — generation model providers; prompts and reference assets are forwarded to these services when you trigger a generation against them.
- Anthropic — when you use the in-app assistant, your messages and the relevant project context are sent to Anthropic for completion.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your projects to train any models.
Cookies & local storage
We use a session cookie for sign-in and the browser's local storage for transient UI state (zoom level, panel layout). We do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts.
Children
CreationCanvas is not intended for users under 16. Don't sign up if you're under 16.
